Evolution of the Heli-Factory AirBus H-160
Bernd and Georg decided it was time to expand their line of models but wanted something new and exciting to compliment their fine line of scale models, they chose the new AirBus H-160. With Bernd having spent his career as an engineer it was no problem for him to design the program that would run the five-axis milling machine. You can see the steps involved in the making of this new model. This type of design and manufacturing keeps the mistakes at a minimum. the pictures I have included pictures that will show you the steps involved from a pallet of composite material to the final shape. The machined fuselage “plug” was then taken to Poland to the company that will add all the accurate exterior detailing and make the molds to produce the new H-160. When that process is completed I will add the next steps here to shown you the end product.
